I remember the first photograph I took. My dad, my sister, on a bench at the edge of a forest in the Vosges region in France. I still have some vague echoes of the fatherly instructions: 'You look through here, and when you see us clearly, you press there'.

This wasn't the decisive moment when I chose to become a photographer, but it's always good to have a little anecdote to tell.

There's some kind of artistic blur over the path(s) that brought me to that choice. I will spare you any more details other than that I mainly studied photography in Bristol and Brussels where I also worked as a press photographer for 'Reporters press agency'; my work has been published in various newspapers, magazines, academic journals and in promotional materials.

I have lived in Leeds for the last five years where I share my passion for photography alongside climbing and brewing beer.
